Putting this up here in case the kids ever see this blog . Your dad was riding in this pedal boat up in Green Valley lake, where we use to take your dad and his brothers for a day trip. Now, living in the mountains, we go there often to enjoy the lake and walk around.
I see that he knew exactly wanted to do as he got older. He stated his favorite hobbies including "building stuff".

This photo reminded me of your Jake. I think he was about 6 or 7 in this photo.
I was watching you two and the little boy wanted to talk - wanted to be friends and you were kind of ignoring him. You looked at him once and turned away. I assumed you thought you had enough friends like me and Papa who would play with you at the park.

Not sure if these ever got posted on her blog. We had limited bandwidth or whatever you call it when we had the dish ..satellite - not sure. Anyway i thought i'd put them up.
I can't believe now that I'm in my 70's how much I miss these days in the past - with grandkids and also when my kids were young. I would go back in a minute to do it all over again with a little more wisdom than I had then. Also remembering the night we got to hold the babies, you with Jakie and me with Cole. Damn I miss these times.
Since I didn't see them posted anywhere else, i saved them off to put here on her blog for her.
