THE GARDEN BUG GANG

How each bug was identified, named and catalogued
Lightning bug aka Hunt: We observed lightning bug for several years. We noticed that he was a particularly fast bug, flitting here and flitting there. He brought a lightness to every situation, every event he flew into. His buggy smile could light up a room, hence he became lightning bug.

Lady Bug aka Holly: Lady bug gained her name by simply observing her mannerisms. She is a bug that is every inch female. She loves soft and furry things, and you can tell when she grows up, she will be a little lady.

Stink Bug aka Cayden: Stink bug was observed for several months and once this little bug started c rawling, he always crawled with his butt up in the air. We heard the daddy bug call him stink bug, hence the name stuck. Hopefully in the future he might evolve into a different bug because who would want to be labeled stink bug as they grow up. But, for now the name fits. Stink bugs are cute and they only smell if you threaten them. He is never threatened so he doesn't smell.

Bed Bug aka Hannah: And then, there is bed bug. Bed bug was named for a particular reason which will have to be shown through pictures. The pictures will follow within a few days. Bed bug, loves to play in her bed with all her toys and stuffed animals. She is a happy little bed bug and ironically, she is NOT a cuddle bug. I would say that in my experience Lightning Bug and Stink Bug have been the cuddler's in the family. Imagine that, the male bugs are the cuddlers.

June Bug aka MacKenzie: This little bug is not pictured yet, because she is not hear yet. When she arrives, she will be added to the repertoir of bugs in the Gramma's garden.

Soon I will post a series of pictures that will explain why each bug got their buggy name.

MacKenzie - Here is your mom and dad

They stopped by to pick up some trimmers so I took pics of them for your blog.

I saw this in my picture file

And immediately thought this is what MacKenzie is going to look like. This was a picture on some wrapping paper that was on a rose bush plant that Cayden (family) gave me. I had taken a photo of the baby because she was so cute.

You will like Hannah as you grow up. She and Holly are your girl cousins and you will probably all get to play together at family gatherings.

Great Auntie L (Laura)

This is your great Auntie L and cousin Hannah. You will like Auntie L. She's funny and will make you laugh and she loves babies.

I will begin to put pics of all the family up when I have the time. So...if you have any pics you want put up just email me the picture. For those who might not have a scanner sometimes I just take a photo of the photo with my camera.

I will be putting MacKenzie's Great grandparents pictures up so it would be great if she had all of her great grandparents' pictures.

Each of my grandkids will have their own blog where they can go look at their movies (which I have some I am putting up at Cayden's) and pics as they get older. I need to work on a Holly and a Hunter blog too.
